2011 is gone… Welcome 2012!

2012 is already rolling, and thing continue to grow for RNE Live! And RNE VO. 2011 was a spectacular year, gaining more clients and seeing new places. 45 cities in 40 weeks was a push, but over the years we have learned to be as adaptable as possible to meet our clients needs and dates.
RNE Live! is a first come, first serve, company and DOES NOT cancel. We pride ourselves on meeting deadlines and ensuring promoters that there is nothing that we won’t try or do to make an event on schedule.
In 2011, RNE Live! expanded the non-motorsport related events schedule, with multiple Dock Dogs events around the nation. One of the honors for RNE Live! in 2011 was being selected to emcee the Dock Dogs National and World Championship events. Not only did we handle the competitive side of the World Championships, RNE Live! also hosted the awards banquet for the World’s as well. Truly enjoyed the experience and have laid a foundation for a long term run announcing their events and banquets in the future. Will be traveling to the UK for one of the regional qualifiers in 2012, making it the 6th trip across the pond for this small town Idaho boy.
Speaking of small town Idaho. It was also RNE Live!’s honor to be invited to speak at Lakeland Joint School District #272’s school in Rathdrum, Idaho. Spent a couple of hours talking to high school students about public speaking and motorsports related stuff. The kids had great questions and I really hope that some of the tips given were helpful. We hope to be invited back in 2012.
As stated above, RNE Live! doubled up on cities certain weeks and it seems as if the booking agent has done that again in 2012. Had a strong talking to with that guy, but he just seems to forget that once the events are booked, follow through is tough. It was a hard go to make all of the arrangements work, at times. Thankfully the airlines played along and did not bungle any of the travel arrangements, as it was a definite gamble at times. Hoping for the same luck in 2012.
RNE Live! has had some interest from new promoters and events. A few more “emcee” engagements are in the offing, and have been in touch with a new freestyle motocross tour that we are hopeful will pan out. Dirt bikes are my first love, and anytime we can be involved with the top athletes in any sport, we are more than interested.
Social Media is not going to be a fad. Nearly 20% of new business for RNE Live! & RNE VO have come from Face Book. We will have direct link from RoadNoise Entertainment.com to the fb page. Lots of photos and video’s and a great way to keep up with where we are at.
