The 2009 motorsports season is coming to a close for RoadNoise Entertainment. It was a FANtastic year!
I made some great new friends, rekindled old relationships, and was able to hang with my friends and family on the road.
RoadNoise was very happy to work with some new promoters in 2009, Flame Motorsports and Family Events and the USSBA. It was also a blessing to work with Lee and Cheri Collins with WHR Motorsports again, as that is where I got my true professional start. I truly hope to do more events for WHR Motorsports and Family Events in the upcoming years.
2010 will see RoadNoise Entertainment’s Scott Heaton continue the tremendous relationship with John Shipman Motorsports at the Stanislaus County Fair and the Central Valley Monster Truck Fall Nationals in Turlock, and at the Josephine County Fair in Grants Pass, Oregon for California Trucks N Stuff. Randy and Sherry Smallwood, of Cal Trucks n Stuff, have been a huge part of my “road family” for the last 15 years and their friendship and business relationship with RNE are cherished. I will also be back at the Sublimity Harvest Festival in Sublimity, Oregon. This is a must attend event, so mark it on your calendars! Halloween in 2010 will be once again spent in Houston, Texas for David Smith and the Flame Motorsports team. This is a huge charity event, benefiting the Ronald McDonald houses in Houston (there are 4), and I was very proud to be part of the event AND to be invited back. And as always, the first quarter of the year will be with Feld Motorsports and Monster Jam.
Brian Sharenow and FMG Events have really stepped up for RNE over the last several months and I see more events in the future for FMG that may be a change of pace for me from the motorsports scene.
To all of the event managers, promoters, marketing folks and crew, Thanks for a wonderful year and I look forward to seeing all of you in 2010 and beyond.
Sincerely,
Scott J Heaton
